How does access work in the Android app?
The Android app has no download charge or in-app purchases. An internet connection and a TLC account with learning access are required. Use your existing TLC access, which may come through a subscription, school, or tutoring provider. The app supports SAT, ACT, and SSAT adaptive practice, explanations, and saved progress. Full-length tests, graduate exam resources, and parent, teacher, and tutor workspaces are available on the website.
How does annual billing work?
You pay for one year upfront at the price shown for your selected plan. The subscription renews annually unless canceled. The 3-month minimum does not reduce the upfront payment. Annual checkout opens only when enrollment and billing policies are ready.
Which learning resources are included?
Each plan’s included resources are listed in its plan card. SAT includes a diagnostic and full-length practice tests; other exams provide the practice and tests currently available for them. ISEE offers an original Lower, Middle and Upper practice starter bank under your account’s practice allowance. GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT resources remain available under normal signed-in access without an additional paid plan.
How does adaptive practice help?
Your scored adaptive-practice answers update the system’s estimate of your skills and help shape the difficulty and focus of later questions. Review answer explanations and skill progress to find your next step. School subject practice lets you choose a grade or course and work through chapters, with progress saved for each course.
What does Pro’s AI guidance include?
The AI tutor provides written hints and explanations alongside eligible practice questions, helping you think through an idea. Access depends on your account and tutor availability; teacher settings may also limit guidance on assignments. Core and Pro do not include live human tutoring sessions.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum. Standard cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle after that minimum, with access continuing through the paid period. Cooling-off, hardship, pause, and refund requests have separate conditions. Annual unused-balance credit details are being finalized before annual enrollment opens.
